Reba McEntire is officially kicking off the holidays in a big way! The country legend just announced she’ll be hosting Christmas in Rockefeller Center, NBC’s iconic holiday special celebrating the lighting of the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York City.
NBC summed it up perfectly in their post announcing the news: “Reba’s about to light up your holiday season!” And honestly, who better to do it?
This will mark Reba’s first time hosting the beloved special and she’s not just emceeing, she’ll be performing too! The show airs live on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 7 p.m. Central Time on NBC, and will also stream on Peacock. The two-hour broadcast includes the official tree-lighting ceremony and performances from Reba and an all-star lineup of musical guests, still to be announced.
