Eric Church decided to have a little fun before his show in Grand Rapids on Friday night and apparently, he won a bet because of it.
Before taking the stage at Van Andel Arena, Church told his crew he could walk around the venue without anyone recognizing him… as long as he ditched his trademark sunglasses.
And guess what? He was right.
The Chief strolled through the crowd before his set and only got spotted once. Considering how loyal and die-hard his fans are, that’s pretty impressive or maybe just proof that those aviators really are part of his disguise.
