Well, leave it to Dolly Parton to shut down the rumor mill with a smile and a joke.
After her sister Freida recently asked fans to keep Dolly in their prayers, folks online started to worry something serious was going on. But in true Dolly fashion, she hopped online to clear things up herself, posting a video with the caption: “I ain’t dead yet!”
In the clip, Dolly looks as radiant as ever and laughs as she tells fans, “Everybody thinks I’m sicker than I am. Do I look sick to you?” She went on to say she’s just been under the weather and needed to take a little break, but assured everyone, “I’m not ready to die yet. I don’t think God’s through with me!”
