Koe Wetzel had to pull the plug on his show at the Country Calling Festival in Maryland over the weekend, but for a pretty understandable reason.
He shared on social media Sunday that a “safety issue” with his aircraft kept him and his crew from making it to the show.
“What’s up, y’all. I hate to do this, but we won’t be able to make it to Maryland for our set tonight at Country Calling due to a safety issue with our aircraft. We tried to find a way, and unfortunately, we are out of options. We’re super bummed and hope we can make it up to y’all soon. Thanks for understanding. Much love, Koe.”
He didn’t say what exactly went wrong, but fans flooded the comments with support, basically saying the same thing we’re all thinking: better safe than sorry.
Koe’s next show is set for October 11 in Salt Lake City as part of his Redwest Tour, and you can bet he’ll be ready to make it up to everyone soon.
