Ella Langley gave fans in College Station a surprise last week when she pulled out an unreleased song and dropped some big news in the process.
The track is called “Choosing Texas,” and Ella co-wrote it with none other than Miranda Lambert. Pretty perfect choice to debut that one on a Texas stage, right?
She actually tested the song out earlier this year in Nacogdoches, and ever since then, fans have been begging her to release it. Now it’s official: “Choosing Texas” will be out before the year wraps up.
Ella isn’t rushing into album No. 2 just yet and she told fans the next full record won’t land until sometime next year. But in the meantime, she plans to drop a handful of tracks that didn’t quite fit the new album’s concept. That way, fans don’t have to wait in silence while she finishes up the big project.
