Country music legend Dolly Parton has announced that she must postpone her upcoming Las Vegas shows, citing “health challenges” that require medical procedures and recovery time.
In a heartfelt social media message, Parton explained:
“Unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me I must have a few procedures. … I won’t be able to rehearse or put together the show I want you to see, and the show you deserve. … I believe God is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you. I love you and thank you for understanding.”
Originally set for December 4–13th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace during the National Finals Rodeo, the residency has now been moved to September 17–26, 2026.
This comes not long after Parton’s absence from Dollywood earlier this month, which she said was due to a kidney stone and an ensuing infection. Whether that incident is related to her current health concerns remains unclear.
Here at KOKE, we’re sending our love and well wishes to Dolly as she takes the time she needs to heal.
