Randall King and Kylie Frey just cooked up a honky-tonk firecracker called “Fort Worth” and it’s as messy, rowdy, and fun as a night in the Stockyards.
The tune flips the script right off the bat. Kylie sets the scene like it’s gonna be a sweet love song, but then Randall busts in to remind us there was actually a whole Stockyards blow-up before the making up. We’re talking jealous exes, swinging fists, plenty of cold beer, and two people who just can’t quit each other.
It’s classic Texas twang with steel guitar and two powerhouse voices trading lines back and forth, the kind of back-and-forth that makes you laugh, shake your head, and then hit repeat. Toxic? Maybe. Entertaining? Absolutely.
Crank up “Fort Worth” and tell us, does it remind you of anyone you know?
