Y’all… it’s a CoJo kind of day!
Cody Johnson scored FOUR nominations at the 2025 CMA Awards and for the first time ever, he’s up for the big one: Entertainer of the Year. Yep, our Texas cowboy is officially running with the biggest names in country music, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Along with the top honor, Cody’s also nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year (for his Carrie Underwood duet “I’m Gonna Love You”), and Musical Event of the Year. Not a bad day at the office, huh?
Cody kept it humble and heartfelt when he shared his excitement, because of course he did:
“What a great honor it is to be recognized for simply loving country music so much. I’m grateful for the liberty I have in this business to create the music I want to make. And grateful to the fans who have stood by me for many years to get us to this point. I’m having the time of my life!”
Classic CoJo. Always keeping it real, always giving the fans the credit.
For those who’ve been with Cody since the Texas dancehall days, this one hits different. He’s built his career the old-fashioned way, grinding it out on the road, playing every honky-tonk that would have him, and staying 100% true to his sound. Now Nashville has no choice but to pay attention.
The 59th Annual CMA Awards are happening Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. You can bet we’ll be glued to the TV, cheering our Texas guy on.
CoJo Nation … this is your moment too. Let’s ride.
