In Waco on August 23rd, it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment when Cross Canadian Ragweed took the stage together in Texas for the first time in 16 years, and the crowd went absolutely wild.
The night was stacked with music from American Aquarium, Wade Bowen, Shane Smith & The Saints, and the Turnpike Troubadours before Ragweed finally made their long-awaited return. When the lights went down and “Walk” by Pantera blasted through the speakers, everyone knew it was on.
Cody Canada and the guys ripped through a set full of fan favorites, with surprise guest appearances from Pat Green, Randy Rogers, Jamie Lin Wilson, and even Robert Earl Keen. The crowd sang every word to “Boys From Oklahoma,” turning McLane Stadium into one big Red Dirt family reunion.
It was loud, it was emotional, and it was pure Ragweed. After a night like that, one thing’s clear … these boys are back, and they haven’t missed a beat.
