Senior shmenior! Chewy may be listed as a senior pup, but he’s got plenty of energy. This handsome fella has a trademark sassy strut—ears bouncing, tail wagging, hips swinging—and has amassed quite a fanbase here at the shelter. I mean, how could he not? Not only is Chewy housebroken, a comedian, and a stellar athlete…he’s also a scholar! This sweet doggo enjoys learning new things and is a Top Dog in the Total Obedience Program. There, Chewy is learning skills like sit, down, walking nicely on leash, sitting calmly when approached by strangers or other dogs, staying in a sit or down until told “free,” and coming when called. But don’t be fooled, Chewy isn’t all work! His passion and skill for fetching are known far and wide, and at any given moment, this goof’s got a toy in his mouth.
