Amplify Austin is here and the Salvation Army invites you to join in our efforts as they raise funds for those in greatest need in our community. Amplify Austin is our city’s annual community-side day of online giving, starting at 6:00 p.m on March 2 and ending 6:00 p.m. on March 3. This 24 hour period of online giving provides an easy and fun way for our entire community to give together while helping nonprofits.
Your donation will help support women and children who are experiencing homelessness in our community. At the two emergency shelters in Austin, they work with clients to link them to long-term housing opportunities. Clients, while they are working on their self-sufficiency goals with their assigned case manager, have the option of staying in residence between thirty to ninety days.
