The Austin ISD Police Department has welcomed a new four-legged officer crime fighter to the family and they are asking their Facebook followers to help give her a name!
Via the Austin I.S.D. Police Department Facebook page:
Here she is, our newest crime fighter, partner, and educator! Ofc. Seagrave and his new partner are here to educate our students about the dangers of drug use, and help keep illegal drugs off our campuses. But she needs a name, so we need your help! We’ve thought of some appropriate names for her, and listed them below:
?Rogue: A member of the X-men, Rogue has the ability to absorb and sometimes remove the memories, physical strength, and superpowers of anyone she touches.
❤️Storm: Also a member of the X-men, Storm has the ability to control the weather and fly.
?Athena: The Greek goddess of wisdom, reasoning and intelligence. Athena fought to restore justice and righteousness.
?Lucca: A real life superhero. Lucca (K458) is a retired United States Marine Corps Specialized Search Dog (SSD). Lucca served in the Marine Corps for six years, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. During her time in the Marine Corps Lucca completed more than 400 combat patrols and found over forty Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) saving countless lives. Lucca was wounded during her final deployment to Afghanistan shortly after locating an IED.
Voting will end at the end of the day Friday. You can vote here.
