Barbara Walters, one of the biggest news anchors worldwide, has passed away today at 93. She has been reported to have passed away peacefully at her home after years of declining health.
Barbara appeared as a host on the “Today” show, “20/20”, “ABC News”, & many more throughout her career. She became known as a trailblazer for females in journalism and women everywhere during her 60 years of broadcasting.
By the end of Walters career she had won 12 Emmy Awards, became the first female news anchor on an evening news program in 1976 with ABC News, & was the founder of talk show “The View”.
