Kirstie Alley, best known for her starring role as Rebecca Howe on ‘Cheers’, has died at 71 after a short battle with cancer.
Alley’s children shared the news on their mother’s social media platforms.

Alley earned a Golden Globe for Best Actress in 1991. Screen credits include Look Who’s Talking, Veronica’s Closet, Fat Actress, Kirstie and Scream Queens, and Drop Dead Gorgeous.
