There’s a good chance you’ve seen the “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight” music video by Hank Williams Jr.
It was shot on this day back in 1984 and featured guest appearances by Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Cheech & Chong and even Ernest. Not the one who sings about flower shops but Ernest P. Worrell aka Jim Varney.
It no doubt turned heads at the time with scantily clad women and an all night party scene but it also made history. The video won the first ever CMA Music Video of the Year Award.
We think it’s time for Bocephus to film a remake!
