You don’t get much cooler than Clint Eastwood and Merle Haggard.
The two teamed up back in 1980 to sing the song ‘Bar Room Buddies’ which was featured in the Eastwood-directed film ‘Bronco Billy’ it later went on to be a #1 hit on the US Country music charts.
The film wasn’t a huge success but Clint once said “It was an old-fashioned theme, probably too old fashioned since the film didn’t do as well as we hoped. But if, as a film director, I ever wanted to say something, you’ll find it in Bronco Billy.”
The Texas Country super duo, Kevin Fowler and Roger Creager, the “Dos Borrachos” did a version of the song a couple years ago and man do they bring some energy to it!
