That’s how many Saturday night broadcasts the Grand Ole Opry has had. 5,000 and the circle is still unbroken.
To celebrate this milestone the Opry had some special performances from greats such as Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, and many more including the great Darius Rucker.
Rucker opened up his performance with a cover of one of the greatest songs ever, Patsy Cline’s “Walkin’ After Midnight”. Plus he wore a cowboy hat that suits him well.
