Marren Morris is featured on John Mayer’s brand new song with an 80s sound ‘Last Train Home’ and makes a brief appearance in the video.
The song is a jam and as a major Mayer fan, I couldn’t be happier to have Mayer and Morris have an official studio recorded collaboration. Mayer has been a fan of the native Texan Morris since she released her song ‘The Bones’ and he even joined her on stage at the Grammy’s earlier in the year lending his legendary guitar skills.
This isn’t the first time Mayer has collaborated with a major country star. He did a CMT Crossroads episodes with Kieth Urban back in 2009.
And another episode with the one and only Brad Paisley.
Mayer is set to release the album ‘Sob Rock’ on July 16th.
