According to TMZ Cecil Ray (full name Cecil Ray Baker) from American Idol has was arrested on April 17th in Rockdale, Texas for burglary of habitation after he allegedly broke into the home of the woman he believes to be the mother of his child and assaulted her.
Cecil’s ex-girlfriend, Mariah Lopez, has claimed on social media posts that he has been abusive before and that he has even denied being the father of their child.
Cecil was eliminated from the show on April 11th after making it to the top 24. He called into the KOKE in the Morning show earlier in the year after his audition episode aired.
He was released the same day on a $15,000 bond.
