As we prepare to celebrate Valentine’s Day, we’d like everyone to remember our beloved seniors who are isolated in nursing homes, with a “Valentimers Challenge”!
Inspired by singer/songwriter George Ducas’ current single “Old Timers”, we are asking you to record a message of gratitude and appreciation for your local nursing facilities that can be shared with their residents. Get creative and include your whole family in this multi generational, grassroots campaign to send a socially safe Valentine to our elders who have been separated from loved ones during this pandemic.
Send your videos to KOKEFMAUSTIN@gmail.com and challenge your friends to do the same. We will showcase them on a special video that will be featured on our website and shared with the local area nursing facilities.
Let’s honor their lives sacrifice and show them that they are not forgotten – every day – but especially on Valentine’s Day!
