Although 2020 has been unexpected for all of us, the veteran community has been impacted tremendously. Boot Campaign has received more than a 300% increase in applications for their Health & Wellness Program. The lingering trauma of hidden wounds of war, adjustments to routine, loneliness due to social isolation, job loss and the non-stop news cycle surrounding current events and COVID-19 have threatened and will continue to impact the mental and emotional health of veterans and their families.
