Miranda Lambert’s 2009 album ‘Revolution’ is a masterpiece.
Her third collection really put her on the map with singles like ‘White Liar’, ‘Heart Like Mine’ and ‘The House That Built Me’. The rest of the album is just as good and there’s one song I’d like to highlight for no particule reason.
‘Airstream Song’ is a fun little track that can speak to everyone in a number of different ways. Miranda sings of wanting to escape her life and be free but she’s not sure why. She’s torn.
Unbridled, or tethered in tide
Safety of the fence
Or the danger of the ride
I’ll always be unsatisfied
Maybe you feel that way now, or have before. Or maybe you just want some good music. Whatever the reason, enjoy.
Miranda is only 36, I think we forget how much of a legend the Longview, Texas native is. As much as I love her radio singles, ‘Tin Man’ is one of the best songs ever, her deep cuts are some of her best work.
