The nominations for the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards are officially out, and this year is shaping up to be a big one… especially for the women.
Leading the way is Megan Moroney with an impressive nine nominations, putting her at the top of this year’s class. Close behind her is Miranda Lambert with eight, while Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson each picked up seven nominations.
On the men’s side, Chris Stapleton earned six nominations, with Zach Top landing five and Cody Johnson pulling in four.
The coveted Entertainer of the Year category is stacked this year, featuring names like Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, and Megan Moroney.
Album of the Year is just as competitive, with projects from Morgan Wallen, Parker McCollum, Zach Top, Riley Green, and Carter Faith all making the cut.
The 61st ACM Awards will take place Sunday, May 17 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, marking a return to Vegas after several years in Texas.
The show will stream live on Prime Video, with more performers still expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
