Willie Nelson is heading back to Baylor University.
The Texas legend is set to perform Wednesday, May 14, 2026, in Waco at Baylor Ballpark, where a stage will be set up on the field. Gates are scheduled to open at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The show marks Nelson’s first performance connected to Baylor in more than 70 years. He briefly attended the university in the early 1950s before leaving to pursue a career in music.
Tickets will be released in a tiered system. Baylor students and Bear Foundation members will have access to a presale on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central Time using the code TRIGGER. General public tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through baylorbears.com/tickets.
