Sturgill Simpson is heading back out on the road under his Johnny Blue Skies name, this time billed as Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds.
The group has announced the 2026 “Mutiny for the Masses” Tour in support of Mutiny After Midnight. The album first arrived on physical formats in March, and as of April 1, it is also available digitally.
The North American run kicks off September 4 at Moody Center in Austin and wraps up October 30 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
One thing fans will notice right away, there are no opening acts planned. That means longer sets and a full night of music from start to finish.
Tickets for the 2026 “Mutiny for the Masses” Tour go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m. local time, with presales beginning Wednesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
