Ella Langley just dropped a stripped-down version of her song “Loving Life Again,” and this one feels a little more personal.
It’s part of her Back Home Sessions, and you can tell right away… this isn’t about production or bells and whistles. It’s just her, the song, and the story.
Go ahead and watch it below.
This song already had some weight to it. Ella’s talked about writing it during a time when things weren’t great mentally, even while everything in her career was starting to take off.
She ended up stepping away for a bit, going back home, and just kind of resetting.
And honestly, that’s exactly what this version sounds like.
It leans into that slower pace… thinking about home, simpler times, and getting back to yourself. Nothing over the top, nothing forced.
That’s kind of what she does well.
This Back Home Sessions version really lets that come through. It’s raw, it’s simple, and it feels a little closer than the studio version.
“Loving Life Again” is expected to be on her upcoming album Dandelion, which is set to drop April 10.
If this is any preview of what’s coming, it sounds like she’s leaning hard into the real-life stuff.
And those are usually the songs that stick.
