Carly Pearce and Riley Green teamed up for a brand new duet that dropped today called “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay.”
The song finds the two country stars trading verses about a relationship that’s probably not the best idea… but neither one of them seems ready to walk away from it. The story centers on that familiar late-night moment where you know you should probably leave, but if you don’t, you already know how the night is going to end.
Pearce said she’s been a fan of Riley Green for a long time and knew he’d be the perfect voice to bring the duet to life. Green echoed that sentiment, saying he’s always loved Pearce’s voice and was excited when she reached out about the song.
