Lainey Wilson has a brand new video out for her song “Can’t Sit Still.”
And honestly, the title pretty much says it all.
The song is all about being the kind of person who just isn’t wired to slow down. Wilson sings about always moving, always chasing the next thing, and never really being able to sit still, even when she probably should.
One line in the song compares it to being like an outside dog stuck on an inside leash. Another talks about feeling like the kid in class trying not to move. It’s a pretty relatable feeling for anyone who always has a million things going on.
The chorus really sums it up, with Wilson admitting she hasn’t caught her breath since she took her first.
Between touring, awards, acting, and constantly putting out new music, it honestly sounds a lot like Lainey’s life these days.
