Clint Black is about to get the spotlight at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
The museum just announced a brand new exhibit called “Clint Black: The Hard Way On Purpose.” It opens April 22 in Nashville and will run all the way through August of 2027.
The exhibit will walk fans through Clint’s career, from his early days trying to break into the business to becoming one of the biggest country stars of the late ’80s and ’90s.
Visitors will be able to see things like guitars, stage outfits, handwritten lyrics, photos, and other pieces from throughout his career.
Of course Clint Black first burst onto the scene in 1989 with his debut album Killin’ Time, which launched a string of hits and helped define the famous “Class of ’89” era of country music.
Speaking of Killin’ Time, the exhibit also lines up with the release of Clint’s new autobiography “Killin’ Time: My Life and Music,” which is set to come out May 19.
The book promises to give fans a deeper look at his life, his music, and the road that led him to become one of country music’s most respected songwriters and performers.
So if you’re planning a trip to Nashville anytime in the next year or so, this might be worth adding to the list.
And honestly, it might also make a lot of people ask the same question country fans bring up every year…
How is Clint Black not already in the Country Music Hall of Fame?
