East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is officially changing its name to Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital.
The announcement was made in a video message from Dolly herself, where she said she’s honored to have her name connected to the hospital and the care it provides to families across the region.
Hospital leaders say only the name is changing. The doctors, nurses, and staff will continue delivering the same level of care they always have.
Dolly has spent decades supporting children through her Imagination Library and other philanthropic efforts, so this move reflects her longtime commitment to kids and her home state of Tennessee.
Another reminder that Dolly Parton’s impact goes far beyond music.
