Ashley McBryde just released the official music video for her new song, “Arkansas Mud.”
The track is all about where she’s from and how that Arkansas grit sticks with you. In the chorus, she sings:
“That Ozark streak sure runs deep
And it sticks to me
Like that Arkansas mud.”
The video matches the song. It’s loud, messy, emotional, and doesn’t try to clean anything up. There’s smoking, drinking, jumping on beds, and a lot of letting it all out. It feels more like a release than a performance.
“Arkansas Mud” follows her earlier single “What If We Don’t” and gives fans another look at what she’s been working on.
