Fans at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo got an unexpected Texas moment this week when Miranda Lambert welcomed Randy Rogers to the stage.
During her February 18 performance, Lambert paused her set to bring out the Texas country mainstay, the crowd immediately recognized what was happening, and the singalongs that followed was loud in the best way.
Lambert and Rogers have crossed paths for years in the Texas music scene, but seeing them share the stage for one of Rogers’ signature songs felt special for longtime fans. It was one of those moments that reminded everyone just how deep the Lone Star roots run in country music.
The rodeo crowd was already fired up, but the collaboration added an extra spark to the night.
