Chad Cooke shared some personal news this week in a heartfelt video message to fans.
After years of life on the road, the Texas country frontman announced he’ll be stepping away from touring with the band to spend more time with his family. He also revealed that they’ve got another baby on the way and right now, that’s where his focus needs to be.
Cooke made it clear this isn’t some dramatic farewell to music. It’s simply a shift in priorities. After countless dancehall nights, festival stages, and miles logged across Texas and beyond, he’s choosing to slow down and be present at home during this next chapter.
There are still nine dates left on the calendar before he takes a step back:
Fri, Feb 20, 2026 — Gilley’s Stage at Choctaw Casino — Durant, OK
Sat, Feb 21, 2026 — Gator’s Cantina — Weatherford, TX
Wed, Mar 4, 2026 — Houston Rodeo (Hideout & Miller Lite Icehouse) — Houston, TX
Fri, Mar 27, 2026 — Yaga’s Cafe — Galveston, TX
Sat, Mar 28, 2026 — Union 28 — Midlothian, TX
Sat, Jun 13, 2026 — Buckles ’n Spurs Fest — Dayton, TX

Sat, Sep 12, 2026 — Lost Lagoon Freedom Fest — El Campo, TX
Sat, Oct 3, 2026 — Luckenbach Texas — Fredericksburg, TX
We’re going to miss having them out on the road, and we’re thankful for every song, every stage, and every memory they’ve given us over the years.
