Country star Ella Langley recently decided to replace an old tattoo with a design that means a lot more to her and shared the whole experience with her fans online.
The “Choosin’ Texas” singer had a small tequila shot glass and lime inked on her arm in the past, but this week she visited tattoo artist A.J. Lingerfeldt to transform that old piece into something personally significant.
Lingerfeldt covered the tequila design with a pair of large floral pieces, resembling roses, on her upper arm, and added a single floating dandelion seed below. Langley has noted that the dandelion artwork ties into her forthcoming album Dandelion, a project that clearly holds deep meaning for her.
Langley documented the session on her Instagram Story, including before-and-after shots of the transformation. While most fans were excited about her new ink, one online commenter didn’t hold back their opinion, joking that she might end up with a full sleeve at this rate. In a playful reply, Langley quipped she’d even get a tattoo “on my eyeball.”
Her album Dandelion is scheduled to release on April 10, and Langley has already announced a tour to support it, kicking off in May and running through August, with a stop in Fort Worth, Texas.
