If anybody is sliding into main character territory right now, it’s Ella Langley. And honey, the calendar is only getting busier.
She dropped a brand new song Friday called “Be Her,” and whew… it goes straight for the feelings. The track lives in that place where you catch yourself looking at somebody else’s life and wondering how it would feel to be that girl for a day.
It’s vulnerable. It’s honest. And it grabs you quick.
Ella worked on the song with HARDY, Jordan Schmidt and Smith Ahnquist, digging into that pull of wanting a little simplicity, a little confidence, maybe a version of life that feels steadier than your own.
It shows a thoughtful side of her while still sounding right at home next to everything fans already love and add it the fact that she co-directed the video. It’s a win.
She’s got her next album, Dandelion, arriving April 10, and the tour with the same name is already lining up cities across the map. Things are moving fast, and she’s right in the middle of it.
