George Strait is headed back to Austin.
The King of Country has just announced two shows at Moody Center ATX, set for April 9 and April 11, marking his return to one of Central Texas’ newest major venues.
Joining Strait both nights will be William Beckmann, a familiar name to Texas country fans and a fitting opener for an Austin run.
A presale begins TODAY (Monday, January 26) at noon, with the code TAKEMETOTEXAS. According to the venue, inventory is very limited, so fans are encouraged to be ready when tickets go live.
The general on-sale is scheduled for Friday, January 30 at 10 a.m.
George Strait’s Austin appearances don’t come around often, and two nights at Moody Center is about as big as it gets. If you’ve been waiting for a chance to see him live in Central Texas, this might be one you don’t want to sleep on.
