
Texas favorite Ty Myers is gearing up to release his next album, Heavy On The Soul, on March 27, 2026, and this one leans into the whole soul vibe.
He recorded the project at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, the same place that helped shape some of the best soul records ever made, and it sounds like you can expect that influence to show up throughout the project.
Ty co-wrote 11 of the 17 songs and teamed up with writers like Scooter Carusoe, Harper O’Neill, and Marcus King, with Brandon Hood producing. The rollout is already underway, fans will get a new single, “Message To You,” this Friday.

It’s already shaping up to be a big year for Ty. He performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and earned RIAA certifications (Gold for his debut album and Platinum for a single).
