Willie Nelson is rolling out a fresh vinyl release of his 2010 album Country Music on February 27.
The project was produced by T Bone Burnett and leans into traditional country, featuring stripped-down arrangements and classics from the American songbook. The album includes songs like “Satan Your Kingdom Must Come Down,” “Pistol Packin’ Mama,” and “Dark as a Dungeon,” backed by players like Buddy Miller, Ronnie McCoury, Stuart Duncan, and Russell Pahl.
When it first came out, Country Music hit No. 4 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and earned Willie a Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album.
This new pressing will arrive as a two-LP gatefold set, with a couple of limited-edition color options available depending on where you shop.
Vinyl fans and Willie fans alike can go ahead and pre-order now ahead of the February release.
