Cinemark and Lowe’s are bringing back their popular Bring Your Own Bucket popcorn promotion, expanding it to two days this year.
On January 18 and 19, moviegoers can bring any clean container to participating Cinemark theaters and fill it with popcorn for $5 plus tax, up to 400 ounces.
Those who bring a Lowe’s 5-gallon blue bucket can fill the entire bucket with popcorn, with no size limit. Lowe’s bucket users will also receive a coupon for discounted popcorn to use later in February.
For guests who don’t bring a container, all popcorn sizes will still be available for $5 during the promotion.
Cinemark is also offering special giveaways and online contests tied to National Popcorn Day, with prizes including free popcorn for a year. Select locations will offer Butter Chardonnay throughout January.
The promotion runs January 18–19 at participating Cinemark locations while supplies last.
