Longhorn legend Jordan Shipley is in critical but stable condition after a serious accident on his ranch near Burnet, Texas.
Shipley, 40, was working with a piece of machinery that caught fire, and he suffered third-degree burns on about 20% of his body. A ranch hand found him and took him to a nearby hospital, and he was later airlifted to a hospital in Austin for treatment.
The Shipley family says they appreciate the support and have asked for continued thoughts and prayers as he recovers.
Shipley was one of the best receivers in Texas Longhorns history. He was a 2009 All-American and still holds the school record for career catches.
We’ll update this post as more information becomes available.
