Troubadour Festival just dropped the lineup for its 2026 Texas barbecue and music weekend, and it’s going to be huge. Robert Earl Keen and Flatland Cavalry are set to headline the festival in Bryan, Texas, bringing together two of the Lone Star State’s favorite live acts for a weekend of great music and even better BBQ.
The weekend kicks off Friday, March 27 with a free pre-party at The Palace Theater in Downtown Bryan featuring sets from American Aquarium and Shelby Stone. The main event goes down Saturday, March 28 at Midtown Park where Texas A&M grad and country icon Robert Earl Keen and hometown favorites Flatland Cavalry will share top billing. Alongside them you’ll see performances from Waylon Wyatt, Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Tyce Delk, Taylor Hunnicutt, The Kruse Brothers and Julianna Rankin.
Beyond the music, Troubadour Festival is all about celebrating Texas BBQ. The festival will feature tastings from about 30 of the state’s best barbecue restaurants, many of which have earned spots on Texas Monthly’s Top 50 BBQ Joints list and other national honors. Organizers are planning themed BBQ showcases so folks can sample a wide range of flavors.
The weekend wraps up Sunday, March 29 with an exclusive BBQ Brunch back at The Palace Theater, catered by Bar-A-BBQ and featuring a special acoustic set from Jason Boland to mark the 25th anniversary of Jason Boland & The Stragglers.
Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, December 19 at 10am CT and will range from general admission to VIP packages with premium perks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hogs for the Cause, a charity that supports families with children undergoing treatment for brain cancer.
