The Syndicate Smokedown & Music Festival is officially back for its 5th anniversary, and the full music lineup for 2026 has just been announced!
The big day goes down Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards, and this year’s bill is stacked with Texas favorites, national names, BBQ legends, and a cause that actually matters.
If you’ve never been, Smokedown is part BBQ competition, part all-day music festival, and 100% Texas through and through and every ticket sold helps support Texas youth in agriculture through 4-H, FFA, and scholarship programs.

Syndicate Smokedown isn’t just a party. It’s a nonprofit fundraiser created by the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, a volunteer group that’s been supporting Texas kids in agriculture for more than 30 years.

Along with two outdoor music stages, Smokedown also hosts one of the largest one-day BBQ competitions in Texas, officially sanctioned by the IBCA, with a $20,000+ prize purse. Both pro pitmasters and backyard teams compete, and BBQ Time ticket holders get unlimited tastings during the competition window.
