The cat’s out of the bag, y’all.
Uncle Lucius is about to drop a live double album recorded at one of the most legendary venues in Texas: Gruene Hall.
The project, called Live In ’25, was captured over two sold-out nights back in March and officially lands November 21st. If you’ve ever seen Uncle Lucius onstage, you know this is exactly how their music is meant to be heard … sweaty, soulful, and a little rowdy.
To give us a taste, the band just released the first single from the album, “Let Me Get a Lengua Plate (Live at Gruene Hall)”, which premiered over at Glide Magazine. It’s a rocking Tex-Mex ode to tacos, complete with accordion, groove, and that signature Uncle Lucius swagger.
You can pre-order the double vinyl, grab a CD, or snag one of their new T-shirt designs now through their online store HERE.
And if you still haven’t caught them live since their reunion, there are a few more chances this fall:
-
Nov 6 – Tulsa, OK @ Cain’s Ballroom
-
Nov 8 – Buda, TX @ Railcar Revival Festival
-
Nov 29 – OKC, OK @ Tower Theater
