Well, look who decided to come home and hit the dance floor.
Austin’s own Glen Powell traded Hollywood premieres for honky-tonk lights this weekend, showing up at the one and only Broken Spoke to do some two-steppin’ like a true Texas boy.
The Twisters star (and my secret boyfriend) popped in to celebrate the birthdays of co-owners Ginny White-Peacock and Annetta White. He even took a spin or two on the dance floor and hung out with Texas country legend Dale Watson, proving that no matter how famous you get, a night at the Spoke still feels like coming home.
The Broken Spoke shared a few pics on social media, captioning the night perfectly: “Glen Powell dropped by to do some two-stepping.” Short, sweet, and very Texas.
It’s always good to see one of our own back where the neon’s warm, the beer’s cold, and the dance floor’s still full. Welcome home, Glen … next round’s on us.
