The King of Country is headed back to Death Valley! 👑
George Strait has officially announced a one-night-only concert at Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 2, 2026, marking his first time on that stage since 1999.
Joining Strait for this historic in-the-round show will be Cody Johnson and special guest Wyatt Flores, making this a can’t-miss night for country fans everywhere.
“Going back to Death Valley for the first time in more than 25 years feels pretty special. Can’t wait to see you, Clemson,” Strait shared in a statement.
Earlier this week, fans started buzzing after Memorial Stadium (“Death Valley”) shared a teaser, hinting that something big was coming. The rumors went into overdrive when both Strait and Johnson posted photos of Clemson football jerseys with their names on the back … basically confirming the news before it was official.
