Prayers for COJO!
Cody Johnson has had to make the tough call to cancel all his remaining 2025 tour dates.
Cody’s been dealing with a serious upper respiratory and sinus infection, and on top of that, he suffered a ruptured eardrum. Doctors had to step in, and he went in for immediate surgery. The recovery isn’t quick — it’s going to take several weeks before he can safely hit the stage again. Without the surgery, downtime could have stretched into months.
Cody shared a heartfelt message with his fans, thanking everyone for the love and support. He promises he’s focused on healing and can’t wait to get back on stage once he’s fully recovered.
Here’s a look at the dates that were affected:
-
Oct. 18 – PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh, PA
-
Oct. 24 & 25 – Legacy Arena at the BJCC, Birmingham, AL
-
Oct. 31 – Boots on the Bayou, Gonzales, LA
-
Nov. 8 – Hondo Rodeo Fest, Phoenix, AZ
-
Dec. 5 – T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV
If you’ve got tickets for any of these shows, hang tight — your ticket provider will have info on refunds or rescheduling. And of course, keep an eye on Cody’s official website for updates.
Even though this is a setback, Cody’s still all about the music and his fans. In the meantime, crank up your favorite Cody Johnson tracks, share the love, and let’s send him all the good prayers & vibes for a smooth, speedy recovery.
