Megan Moroney is putting her own spin on a Toby Keith classic and I don’t hate it.
She just dropped her cover of “Who’s Your Daddy?”, originally part of an Apple Music Sessions project honoring the late country legend. The exclusive series features today’s biggest names paying tribute to Toby’s hits, including Ella Langley, Riley Green, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, and Tucker Wetmore, all reimagining some of his most iconic songs.
Megan’s take on “Who’s Your Daddy?” keeps that playful, confident energy Toby was famous for but flips it with her own style and sass. It’s twangy, fun, and pure Megan.
She’s said before that the song has been her band’s pre-show hype anthem, so it makes sense that she’d want to make it her own.
The full Apple Music Nashville Sessions: Toby Keith Covered project dropped around what would’ve been Toby’s 64th birthday, making it an extra-special tribute.
If you’re a Toby fan or just love a good cover, check this one out and crank it up loud.
