The 5th Annual Folds of Honor Central Texas – Freedom Cup tees off Monday, October 6th, 2025, at Great Hills Country Club in Austin. This patriotic golf tradition raises funds to provide educational scholarships for the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders.
Since its start in 2021, the Freedom Cup has already raised nearly $500,000 and awarded close to 100 life-changing scholarships right here in Central Texas. With strong support from Austin-area patriots and businesses, the event is pushing toward its next big milestone: the $1 million mark.
Founded in 2007 by Lt Col Dan Rooney, Folds of Honor has grown into a national movement – raising nearly $290 million and awarding almost 62,000 scholarships across the country.
