Remembering September 11th
Today, we pause to remember.
September 11th, 2001, is a day forever etched into our hearts. A day when the world stood still, when ordinary people became heroes, and when a nation came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
For so many of us, the memories are crystal clear … where we were, who we were with, and how we felt when the news broke. It’s a day filled with sadness, but also with stories of courage, compassion, and unity that continue to inspire us more than two decades later.
Alan Jackson’s song, “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning),” captures those feelings in a way that words alone can’t. It’s a reminder to hold our loved ones close, to be kind, and to never forget the lives lost and the heroes who stepped forward.
Take a moment today to reflect, to remember, and to listen.
Because even all these years later… we will never forget.
