There’s something profoundly moving about music that unites hearts. Last night, on August 17, 2025, music lovers from across the state and beyond tuned in to witness something truly special: the Band Together Texas benefit concert, livestreamed from the Moody Center in Austin at 7 p.m. CT.
This was more than just a concert. In the wake of the devastating July 4 floods in the Texas Hill Country, which claimed more than 130 lives and left many communities in urgent need, Texas musicians, actors, athletes, and public figures came together to offer what they could: a night of music, solidarity, and hope. Proceeds from the evening support both the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and the Central Texas Community Foundation
The concert delivered on its promise of star power. Headliners included Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Jason Aldean, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Wade Bowen, Jack Ingram, Jon Randall, Ryan Bingham, Lukas Nelson, Dylan Gossett, and Randy Rogers with Brady Black.
Adding to the evening’s magic were surprise appearances from beloved figures like Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, and sports icons Roger Clemens, Mack Brown, Colt McCoy, Vince Young, Chris Harrison, and Emmanuel Acho.
